This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable and prohibited uses of the services provided by Neurax Technologies Inc. ("Neurax Host," "we," "our," or "us"). This Policy applies to all customers, users, resellers, affiliates, and anyone accessing or using our hosting infrastructure, websites, domains, servers, cloud platforms, AI hosting, VPS hosting, GPU hosting, email hosting, and related services.

By using our services, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in suspension or termination of services without notice where permitted by law.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to:

  • Maintain a secure, reliable, and stable hosting environment.
  • Protect customers, networks, and infrastructure.
  • Prevent illegal, abusive, or harmful activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian laws and regulations.

2. Lawful Use

Customers may use our services only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to use our services in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, provincial, national, or international law.
  • Infringes on the rights of others.
  • Interferes with the operation or security of our services.
  • Harms other users or third parties.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • You may not use our services to:
  • Commit fraud or identity theft.
  • Engage in phishing or scams.
  • Distribute illegal content.
  • Facilitate criminal activity.
  • Violate export control or sanctions laws.

Malware and Cybersecurity Threats

Customers must not:

  • Upload or distribute viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or other malicious software.
  • Launch denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts.
  • Exploit vulnerabilities without authorization.
  • Perform network scanning intended to compromise systems.

Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Customers may not use our services to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam).
  • Send phishing emails.
  • Operate open mail relays.
  • Send deceptive or misleading communications.
  • Harvest email addresses without consent.
  • All email communications must comply with applicable anti-spam laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), where applicable.

Intellectual Property Violations

You may not:

  • Upload or distribute copyrighted material without authorization.
  • Infringe trademarks or patents.
  • Host pirated software, movies, music, or other protected content.
  • Circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections.

Harmful or Offensive Content

Customers must not host or distribute content that:

  • Promotes violence or criminal activity.
  • Contains child exploitation material.
  • Encourages terrorism or extremist activity.
  • Constitutes unlawful hate speech.
  • Violates applicable laws regarding obscene or illegal content.

4. AI and GPU Hosting

Customers using AI Hosting or GPU Hosting services must ensure that AI workloads comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.

Prohibited AI activities include:

  • Generating illegal or fraudulent content.
  • Creating malicious software.
  • Conducting unauthorized surveillance.
  • Processing unlawfully obtained personal information.
  • Operating AI systems that facilitate cybercrime.
  • Excessive resource abuse that impacts other customers.
  • Neurax Host reserves the right to suspend AI workloads that threaten the stability, security, or integrity of our infrastructure.

5. Resource Usage

To ensure fair access for all customers, users may not:

  • Excessively consume CPU, memory, storage, or bandwidth.
  • Operate services that significantly degrade shared infrastructure.
  • Circumvent resource limitations.
  • Abuse unlimited service offerings.
  • Where necessary, we may temporarily limit or suspend services that negatively affect platform performance.

6. Website and Hosting Security

Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their websites and applications.

You should:

  • Use strong passwords.
  • Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) where available.
  • Keep software, plugins, and themes updated.
  • Remove unused applications.
  • Maintain regular backups.
  • Customers remain responsible for vulnerabilities caused by outdated or insecure software.

7. Domain Name Services

Customers using domain registration or transfer services agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information.
  • Maintain current contact information.
  • Comply with applicable registrar and registry policies.
  • Avoid fraudulent domain registrations.
  • Respect intellectual property rights.
  • False WHOIS information may result in domain suspension or cancellation.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • All activity occurring under their accounts.
  • Protecting account credentials.
  • Monitoring account usage.
  • Reporting unauthorized access immediately.
  • Maintaining independent backups of important data.

9. Monitoring and Enforcement

Neurax Host may monitor service usage where reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect our infrastructure.
  • Investigate security incidents.
  • Respond to abuse complaints.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Enforce this Policy.
  • We respect customer privacy and will only access customer information where necessary and permitted by applicable law.

10. Reporting Abuse

If you believe our services are being used in violation of this Policy, please contact us with sufficient details to investigate the matter.

Reports should include:

  • Description of the suspected abuse.
  • Relevant domain name or IP address.
  • Date and time of the incident.
  • Supporting evidence where available.

11. Violations

If this Policy is violated, Neurax Host may, at its sole discretion:

  • Issue a warning.
  • Require corrective action.
  • Suspend affected services.
  • Restrict access.
  • Remove unlawful content.
  • Terminate customer accounts.
  • Report illegal activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required.
  • The severity of enforcement will depend on the nature and seriousness of the violation.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, industry standards, or our services.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
