Accessing cPanel
- From your Neurax Host dashboard: Hosting → My Hosting Accounts → cPanel button
- Direct URL: yourdomain.com:2083 (use your cPanel username and password)
Key sections in cPanel
Files
- File Manager: Upload, edit, and manage your website files
- FTP Accounts: Create FTP credentials for third-party clients like FileZilla
- Disk Usage: See how much storage you are using (plans range from 30 GB to 250 GB NVMe SSD)
- Email Accounts: Create and manage email addresses on your domain
- Forwarders: Forward emails to another address
- SpamAssassin: Configure spam filtering
- Webmail: Access email in your browser at webmail.yourdomain.com
Databases
- MySQL Databases: Create databases for WordPress, Joomla, or custom apps
- phpMyAdmin: Visual database manager
Domains
- Addon Domains: Host additional websites (Business Shield and higher allow unlimited websites)
- Subdomains: Create staging.yourdomain.com or other subdomains
- Redirects: Set up URL redirects
Security
- SSL/TLS: Manage SSL certificates (AutoSSL provisions free Let's Encrypt certs)
- Two-Factor Authentication: Enable 2FA for cPanel login (included on Business Shield plans)
